On February 6, 2023, a devastating earthquake struck Syria, bringing fear, death, and destruction. In response, we provided assistance to over 150 families, offering tents to ensure temporary shelter from the harsh weather and cold. The emergency persists, as does the need to raise funds to meet daily needs and ongoing crises.

Three spontaneous camps have been set up to accommodate approximately 300 families, 650 newborns, and 105 orphans. After the initial setup of tents, our commitment did not stop: we are working to improve the quality of life in these camps, striving to make the spaces livable and comfortable. We provide basic assistance, such as food and medicine, and educational support for children and young people, as many risk losing access to education. Last autumn, we also opened an office (a Help Point) that serves as a support center and listening hub for the local community.

In the Al-Resala camp, we have set up a pediatric clinic staffed by two doctors and a nurse. The clinic provides free medical care to the local population. In case of difficulties accessing the clinic, our medical car is equipped to reach patients across the various camps in Azaz, ensuring that essential care is always available.

The AMAN Project is dedicated to supporting vulnerable and unaccompanied women in Syria, who are often victims of abuse and violence. We offer social protection programs, psychological support, and opportunities for education and employment to 280 women, 360 girls, and 90 children, indirectly impacting 1,400 families. This project is crucial to help these women rebuild their lives and gain independence.
